The Lima Police Department is investigating a body found Monday afternoon. Around 12:30 p.m., police received a report of a body found in a wooded area on the corner of Jackson and Market Street, beside the train tracks. The body had been there for a significant amount of time and appeared to be male. There were no signs of a struggle or clues as to the cause of death where it was found. The deceased individual was sent to the Lucas County Coroner to determine their identity and cause of death, but a report may not be complete for several weeks.
