The second man involved in robbing an Auglaize County woman will serve the same time as his accomplice.

Jason Sledge was sentenced to the agreed upon time of seven years in prison for aggravated robbery with a firearm specification. He could serve up to nine years. A woman agreed to sell a video game system and cell phone using the site "Letgo". When she got to an east 4th street apartment, Sledge and Kirk Brenneman jumped in her car and robbed her at gunpoint. Brenneman was previously sentenced to serve the same amount of time in prison for a charge of robbery with a firearm.

A Lima man who took part in robbing an Auglaize County women using the app "Letgo" has been sentenced to prison. Kirk Brenneman was sentenced to the agreed upon punishment of seven years following his plea deal. He can serve up to nine years in prison. Brenneman pleaded guilty to an amended robbery charge with a three year firearm specification. A woman had agreed to sell a video game system and cell phone. When she got to an E. 4th Street apartment, Brenneman and Jason Sledge jumped in her car and robbed her at gunpoint. The judge says Brenneman has previously been criminally charged a dozen times.

One of two men suspected of robbing an Auglaize County woman has taken a plea deal. Kirk Brenneman has pleaded guilty to an amended charge of robbery with a three year firearm specification. He was originally charged with aggravated burglary. Part of the deal includes a capped sentence of seven years. Brenneman and Jason Sledge were charged relating to an armed robbery on Sept. 26. A woman agreed to meet the two after trying to sell a video game system on the website "let go." When she arrived to an E. 4th St. apartment, the two held her at gunpoint in her car and took the electronics. Brenneman will be sentenced Feb. 19, while sledge has pre-trial on Feb. 12.

Two men have been indicted for their suspected involvement in robbing a woman who was trying to sell some electronics. Kirk Brenneman and Jason Sledge have been indicted each with one charge of aggravated robbery with a firearm specification. An Auglaize County woman was attempting to sell a video game system on the popular site "Letgo" on September 26, 2019. She was given directions to an East 4th Street apartment complex. Police believe the two men got in her car, held the woman at gunpoint, and took the electronics.

Two Lima men have been arrested after allegedly robbing an Auglaize County woman who was attempting to sell items on an online site. 18-year-old Kirk Brenneman and 20-year-old Jason Sledge were charged with suspicion of aggravated robbery. The incident happened around 8 p.m. on Thursday night at an East Fourth Street apartment complex. The woman showed up to sell a video gaming system and cell phone she had posted on the popular internet site 'LetGo'. She was given directions to the apartments where the two suspects got in her car, pulled out a gun, and robbed her of the items. Police say the victim fled unharmed.
