The trial is underway for a 20-year-old man facing charges related to a shooting last summer at Bill’s Drive-Thru. Jeremiah Washington, 20, is currently charged with felonious assault and aggravated robbery. Both charges carry firearm specifications. In July 2024, Allen County deputies responded to Bill’s Drive-Thru after receiving reports of a shooting.
The Allen County grand jury added additional charges to a man who was arrested after a shooting in American Township in July. 20-year-old Jeremiah Washington was indicted on the charges of felonious assault and aggravated robbery, and both charges have gun specifications with them. In July 2024, Allen County deputies were called out to the 2000 block of North West Street near Bill's Drive Thru for a report of a shooting victim. Washington took off towards the Brower Road Apartments and was arrested a short time later. The victim was taken to Mercy Health-St. Rita's with serious injuries.
A man charged with a shooting that seriously injured another man was arraigned on the charge Friday afternoon. 20-year-old Jeremiah Washington appeared in Lima Municipal Court on a felonious assault with deadly weapon charge from earlier this week. On Wednesday morning, Allen County sheriffs were called out to the 2,000 block of North West Street near Bill's Drive-Thru for a shooting victim. Washington took off towards the Brower Road Apartments and was arrested a short time later. The victim with critical but non-life-threatening injuries was taken to Mercy Health Saint Rita's.
