ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - The Allen County grand jury added additional charges to a man who was arrested after a shooting in American Township in July. 20-year-old Jeremiah Washington was indicted on the charges of felonious assault and aggravated robbery, and both charges have gun specifications with them.

In July 2024, Allen County deputies were called out to the 2000 block of North West Street near Bill's Drive Thru for a report of a shooting victim. Washington took off towards the Brower Road Apartments and was arrested a short time later. The victim was taken to Mercy Health-St. Rita's with serious injuries.
