An argument led to a shooting Sunday evening in the 400 block of East Pearl Street.
Damien Durr, 22, was booked into the Allen County Jail late Saturday night for the death of Damariante Dillingham, 30.

Damariante Dillingham, 30, died from a gunshot wound sustained in an incident that happened in the 800 block of State Street just after 7:30 p.m. Friday.
William “Frankie” Edge, 46, was taken into custody and is being held in the Allen County Jail on two outstanding warrants, along with suspicion of felonious assault and weapons under disability charges.
The Lima Police Department responded to reports of a shooting around 10:15 a.m. Friday. According to detectives at the scene, multiple bullets were fired into a house in the 800 block of Franklin Street, with shell casings scattered throughout the area.
Jeremiah Washington, 20, is facing charges of felonious assault and aggravated robbery.
The trial is underway for a 20-year-old man facing charges related to a shooting last summer at Bill’s Drive-Thru. Jeremiah Washington, 20, is currently charged with felonious assault and aggravated robbery. Both charges carry firearm specifications. In July 2024, Allen County deputies responded to Bill’s Drive-Thru after receiving reports of a shooting.
St. Marys police have arrested a suspect in an early Saturday morning shooting at a downtown gas station.
Officers responded to Lima Memorial Hospital around 2 a.m. for a gunshot victim. The juvenile had suffered a wound to the arm and was treated and released.
Kenton Quint, 66, is currently being held in the Logan County Jail on charges related to the death of Wanda Quint, 68.
