LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - The Lima Police Department responded to reports of a shooting around 10:15 a.m. Friday.
According to detectives at the scene, multiple bullets were fired into a house in the 800 block of Franklin Street, with shell casings scattered throughout the area. A gas meter was struck by a bullet but was quickly shut off after officials arrived. The suspect fled the scene, but a person of interest was pulled over in a vehicle around 11 a.m. Lima Police, then, took someone into custody. At this time, no injuries have been reported. The shooting remains under investigation.
