These individuals should exemplify the Halloween spirit by excelling in home decoration, costume planning, or participating in Halloween-related events and activities.

County Fair royalty get to host other royalty at their fair, give out awards to the junior fair exhibitors, and represent their county. On Sunday, The Van Wert County Fair announced who would be the lucky pair to earn those privileges. 

The Putnam County Fair began Monday, and have named a new king and queen. The Putnam County Fair kicked this afternoon by combining the Opening Ceremony and the King and Queen Coronation together in the Main Show Arena instead of in front of the Grandstands. The President of the Putnam County Agricultural Society, Nathan Meyer gave the opening remarks. The king and queen who are both recent graduates of Ottawa-Glandorf High School explained what it felt like to win and their thoughts as they were unsure if the fair would go on.

The Auglaize County Junior Fair Board has selected a new king and queen for its 2018 royalty.
