Construction for the Lima Community Aquatic Park is coming along, and the city is now working on the next step. Monday afternoon, the Lima Community Foundation, along with the City of Lima, launched the "Make a Splash! The Campaign for the Lima Community Aquatic Park." Through this campaign, the city has set a goal to raise 5 million dollars in endowment funds over the next 3 years. As of December 2, 2024, the city has raised 78% of that 5 million dollar goal. The raised endowment funds will be used to support long-term operating expenses and park maintenance while ensuring the park remains affordable and accessible for all in the community to use.
