LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The Lima Community Aquatic Park is now taking registrations for its summer swimming lessons.
Weekly sessions for children will run from June 8 through July 22. Officials said the lessons are designed to help children build confidence and improve their skills in the water. Each class session will include six lessons, and participants can choose from three different skill levels.
“Level one is completely beginner. You haven't swam before,” said Bradley Blanchard, aquatics coordinator. “Level two would be more we're going to — you can float, we can glide a little bit. We're going to start talking about how to swim. And then level three, we're going to really start actually with some technique stuff and really swimming.”
