July 17, 2024, Press Release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol: SWANTON – The Swanton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash. The crash occurred July 16 at 4 p.m. on the Ohio Turnpike near Interstate 280 in Lake Township, Wood County. The preliminary investigation revealed a Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by Kenny L. Robinson, 58, Mt Sterling, Ky., was traveling westbound on the Ohio Turnpike when the motorcycle tire blew out and Robinson lost control.
LIMA, OH (WLIO) -Â A motorcycle in Lima around 8:30 pm Thursday night sent one man to the hospital.
The first crash occurred around 3 PM on the Metcalf Street railway bridge. Officials say a car and a motorcycle collided with one person being taken to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries. A second crash occurred around 8:30 PM just south of the Paul Street and Metcalf Street intersection.

Around 3:15 p.m., Ohio State Highway Patrol and Bath Township Fire Department responded to an accident near the intersection of Reservoir Road and Kingwood Drive in Lima. According to first responders, the driver of the motorcycle was heading westbound on Reservoir Road when it spun out of control. Bath Fire Department said the driver of the motorcycle was transported to Lima Memorial Health System with serious injuries.

A Kentucky man was sent to the hospital with serious injuries after he crashed his motorcycle in western Auglaize County. According to the Wapakoneta post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Larry Castro, 47, of Rush, Kentucky was traveling east on Glynwood Rd just after 5:00 pm on Saturday when his 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle traveled off the south side of the roadway and struck a ditch.
