A Beaverdam man has pleaded guilty to attempted felonious assault after a shooting incident in May.

Napoleon Road, between Dixie Hwy and Sandusky Road, will be closed on April 22 and April 23 from 7:00 a.m. through 7 p.m. for asphalt paving. The bridge on Shaffer Road, located between State Route 81 and Sunderland Road, has been repaired and is now open to traffic.
At around 2 p.m. first responders were called out to a two-car crash at the intersection of Napoleon Road and North Dixie Highway. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the blue Honda failed to stop at the stop sign, and the southbound truck hit the Honda. According to the Beaverdam Richland Fire & Rescue, the driver of the Honda was trapped, and the door had to be removed. One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
They have been put on the list of most dangerous intersections in the state by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and changes to improve them are on the drawing board. As part of the Governor's “Intersection Safety Program”, two eastern Allen County intersections on State Route 309 at Napoleon and Thayer Roads will see major changes. The Ohio Department of Transportation will be holding a public meeting to present alternatives to improve safety at those intersections. They are a traditional widening with left-turn lanes at each road or a single-lane roundabout.
A fender bender accident with an Allen East school bus sends four kids to the hospital to be checked out this morning. The accident happened around 8 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Harding Highway and Napoleon Road.
One person is transported to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in eastern Allen County this afternoon.
In efforts to improve traffic movement and safety, the Ohio Department of Transportation and the Ohio State Highway Patrol teamed up to put new traffic signs near Allen East School.
