Ottawa Elementary School hosting a night for all things STEM.
A variety of Putnam County Elementary Schools received a donation of books to promote reading during winter break. The Leipsic Community Center traveled to multiple schools on Tuesday and Wednesday, donating books for all reading levels.
Normally the students of Ottawa Elementary School would visit the nursing home to sing carols and do crafts with residents. To keep those inside safe this year, the school decided to walk around the building’s perimeter and wave through the windows, while dressed in their best holiday fashion.
Putting yourself in different situations is a good way to get ready for anything that may come up in life, and that's exactly what 7th and 8th graders did for Ottawa Elementary's first ever Amazing Shake Contest. Students spent a minute at 15 different stations where they had to think on their feet and react to real world scenarios that they might have to deal with some time in their lives.
