Annual plant sale helps master gardeners continue to maintain the Lima Children's Garden.  

The group has been around for many years, originally formed to prevent the closure of the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center. Today, attendees appeared both in person and over a video conference call to discuss future production, hiring more veterans, and how state organizations are contributing or want to contribute to the continued success of the plant. Plans are also being made to meet with newly elected government officials, to get them familiar with the tank plant and its needs.

The Ohio State Lima campus is now offering its 4-year bachelor of science in engineering technology degree exclusively at the engineering and manufacturing center located at the Ford Lima Engine Plant's training center. OSU Lima's dean and director speaking at the Lima Rotary, giving an update on how the program is working to maintain local talent while meeting the needs of local manufacturers with real-world, hands-on experiences.

Rob Portman joined officials from Airstream, Shelby County, and the National Park Service to get a closer look at the new Airstream manufacturing plant. Portman has been an advocate for the parks and believes parks and Airstream go hand in hand. Every Airstream trailer is built in Jackson Center, Ohio, and before the senator leaves office he wants to get one more bill passed to help with the continued success of Airstream and other Ohio businesses in the future.
