Just before 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, first responders were called to the intersection of Elm Street and Seriff Road. It is unknown how many people were hurt in the crash, but troopers say there were significant injuries to some of the people that were transported to the hospital. A power pole near the intersection was damaged during the incident. The cause of the crash has not been released.

The Mustang struck the Escape, sending the SUV into a traffic light pole. Police say the driver of the Escape was transported to Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center with minor injuries, and the juvenile occupant walked away. Traffic and crosswalk signals at the intersection were out for a couple hours.

Just before 10 a.m. Thursday morning, police reported a man who was driving without a license had crashed into a power pole in front of the West Ohio Community Action Partnership. Central Avenue is expected to be closed most of the day to deal with the damage. The pole hit was taken off the ground and there's concern with a transformer on it. WOCAP had evacuated with the power needing to be shut off to the area. No one was injured in the crash.

An early afternoon accident sends one to the hospital and closed a Lima street. The call came in just before one o'clock of a vehicle striking a power pole in the 200 block of South Woodlawn Avenue.
