OTTAWA, OH (WLIO) - It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas over at the Putnam County Library in Ottawa.
The libraries of Putnam County are going the extra mile to make reading interesting for kids this summer. Kids at the Columbus Grove branch learned all about space today as part of the season's "The Adventure Begins at Your Library Series." Through hands-on activities and crafts, they learned about the power of UV light, the phases of the moon, and the scale of objects in the solar system. Each week, the libraries will highlight books about a variety of different "adventurous" topics.
The Putnam County District Library celebrates a century of service to people in the county. The District Library turned 100 on February 12th, and they have been holding fun activities all week to mark the occasion.
