In addition to the game, a traditional benefit fundraiser will take place at the Fraternal Order of Police on Robb Avenue Sunday at 3 p.m. The event will feature food, raffles, and other activities to support the Mortimer family during this difficult time.
A Lima Fire Department ambulance was involved in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Robb Avenue and West Street. Nobody was injured in the accident that happened around 11 a.m. Monday. The Lima Police Department and the Lima Fire Department responded to the scene of the crash involving the ambulance and a pickup truck. The ambulance will have to be fixed before returning to service.
The incident happened just after 3 p.m. Monday afternoon at the intersection of Robb Avenue and Main Street. Additional help was called in to assist. Three people were taken to the hospital but it's unclear what condition they are in. Lima police are still investigating the crash. As of 6 p.m. they have not released any further details.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a three-vehicle crash that sent four people to the hospital. The crash happened around two o'clock today(10/18/19) at the intersection of Robb Avenue and Cole Street. It is unclear who is at fault, but the force of the collision rolled the SUV on to its top. All four of the people transported appeared to have non-life threatening injuries. The north side of the intersection was closed while the crash was cleared.
