A man released from prison this year is recovering in a Columbus hospital after allegedly exchanging gunfire with Lima Police officers during a Friday night traffic stop that left an officer injured.
A former St. Marys school bus driver has been indicted on 13 sex-related charges involving a student, though the alleged incidents did not occur on school grounds.

Lima police detectives are working to determine who is responsible for a shooting that left a man injured Saturday night.
On Friday afternoon, officers from the Lima Police Department received a report of a possible shooting at 319 East 2nd Street. Once officers arrived on scene, a male was found to be suffering a gunshot wound to his hand. The male was then transported from the scene to St. Rita's Hospital for treatment. A female was also found to have injuries to her hand. She was treated on scene and questioned by officers. It is currently unknown the severity of the gunshot wound, or what ultimately led to the shooting.
A woman is in custody after being suspected for murder early Saturday morning. According to a press release sent out by the Auglaize County Sheriff's Office, deputies were sent out to a reported shooting just west of St. Marys, in the Sandy Beach area, around 3:30 a.m.
