The Goodfellows continue to make sure that everyone in the St. Marys community has a Merry Christmas. For over 40 years, the group has provided presents and food for families in the St. Marys school district that are in need this time of year.   Many school and community organizations contribute funds to purchase the items that are given out.   This year they are helping over 230 families have a better Christmas.  After decades of doing the holiday giveaway, the process is like a well-oiled machine.

Ohio Representative Jim Jordan toured the new Grand Lake Medical Office building in St. Mary's Wednesday.  The congressman was able to tour the multi-million dollar facility, viewing each wing and learning more about the different types of services offered. 

The old flour mill that sits on the canal on E. High St. is one of the first built, and one of the last remaining mills on the canal. The renovated building will be used to educate future generations of Ohioans about the importance of transportation and industry in our states prosperity.
