LIMA, OH (WLIO) - The Lima Police Department is reminding everyone not to ring in the new year by shooting a gun into the air.
A national shooting competition returns to Lima this weekend to have some fun and test people’s marksmanship with a handgun. For the second year in a row, The GLOCK Sport Shooting Foundation has brought one of their 55 competitions they hold nationwide each year to the Lima SABRES Shooting Association.
21-year-old I'tazia Harris sustained non-life-threatening wounds, after being struck in the leg by a bullet. Further investigation revealed several shell casings suggesting that this was possibly an ambush-style shooting, with multiple shooters.
