LEIPSIC, Ohio (WLIO) — Leipsic got a measure of revenge Friday night, rolling past Ada 47–14 in a Blanchard Valley Conference matchup to close out the regular season in dominant fashion.
A year after the Bulldogs beat the Vikings in the regular-season finale, Leipsic flipped the script behind a strong ground attack led by Marquise Williams.
Williams broke loose in the third quarter with a long touchdown run to extend Leipsic’s lead to 22–7 after a successful two-point conversion.
Ada responded immediately when Kayleb Hickman took the ensuing kickoff down the sideline for a touchdown, cutting the deficit and keeping the Bulldogs within striking distance.
But the Vikings took control from there, with Williams finding the end zone again on another big run in the second half as Leipsic’s offense pulled away.
The Vikings’ defense clamped down the rest of the way, holding Ada scoreless through the final two quarters to secure the 47–14 win.
