SIDNEY — The Lima Junior Golf Tour rolled into Shelby Oaks Golf Club for the Bob Fridley Junior Tournament — the second-to-last stop before the championship.
St. John’s Tyce McClain claimed the win with a 3-under performance, topping a competitive field in Sidney.
Lehman Catholic’s Henry Peterson delivered a strong showing, finishing runner-up with an even-par 72 that included three birdies. Sidney’s Carter Wooddell secured third place after a sharp day around the greens.
Minster’s Bryce Prenger carded a birdie at hole 11, while Allen East standout Levi Clum posted a 3-over round — enough to hold his spot atop the overall standings heading into the final event.
Parker Will of St. John’s placed 11th after some tough bounces but managed to stay in the hunt.
The junior tour now heads to Bluffton Golf Club on Tuesday for the regular season finale.
