FAIRBORN - Ottawa-Glandorf’s postseason run came to an end in the Division IV state semifinals Monday at Fairborn High School, as the Titans fell 6-2 to Summit Country Day in a rematch of last year’s championship game.

The Titans jumped out to an early lead when Karsyn Erford scored off an assist from Delaney Duling to put O-G ahead 1-0. Summit Country Day responded midway through the first half to tie the game, then took control early in the second half with a go-ahead goal just 13 minutes after halftime.

Down 4-1 late, O-G’s Brea Recker converted a penalty kick to make it 4-2, but the Silver Knights continued to surge, adding two more goals to seal the win.

Ottawa-Glandorf finishes the season at 17-6, earning another deep postseason run and back-to-back state tournament appearances.
