Activate Allen County is expanding access to fresh food by planting Lima's first urban orchard at the Jackson Street Garden.

Activate Allen County and community volunteers planted Lima's first urban orchard at the Jackson Street Garden to increase access to fresh fruit in a neighborhood considered a food desert. The project was funded through an Allen Lima Leadership grant, with additional support from the Lima Cenovus Refinery's We Care Program.
