Mayor David Berger was made aware that city inspectors have issued a certificate of occupancy for all living spaces in the former first national bank building. According to the developer, WODA-Cooper Group's website the nearly two-year redevelopment of 43 Town Square was estimated at $16.7 million. There are 47 one, two, and three bedroom apartments. Berger said he was made aware the leasing process has gone well and residents may start moving in mid-April. He said the completion of the project is a sign the direction Lima is heading in.

"A number of years ago it was a symbol of Lima's decline," said Berger. "I think it's now a symbol of the revitalization taking place in our community. I think in practical terms, as folks see it lit up at night as they see people coming and going from the building, it will give you a new sense of vitality."

Berger added the first-floor commercial space is still vacant while developers continue to search for a suitable vendor.
