ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - The process to receive your marriage license just became quick and easy.
The new service has its sights on streamlining the marriage application process, providing couples with a user-friendly and more efficient way to apply for a marriage license.
The Allen County Court of Common Pleas, Probate Division, announced the launch of its new electronic marriage application, now available on the court's website. The new service has its sights on streamlining the marriage application process, providing couples with a user-friendly and more efficient way to apply for a marriage license.
"Previously, we actually had a PDF application that was a type and tab form, and this just went live last Tuesday, October 15th. So this is brand new to Allen County, so we're really to bring this technology to our county and to our users. It just streamlines the process. People coming in our door, they are in and out within 10 minutes, and we can wish them congratulations as they leave with their marriage license," explained Chelsea Hankinson, chief deputy clerk at the Allen County Probate and Juvenile Court.
