LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The AMA Pro Racing community is mourning the loss of American Flat Track competitor Dan Bromley, who died following an on-track crash during Saturday night's Lima Half-Mile motorcycle race at the Allen County Fairgrounds.
According to the Perry Township Police Department, officers were notified of an accident on the track shortly before 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Bromley, 30, was transported to Lima Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
AMA Pro Racing said Bromley was a third-generation flat track racer from Warrington, Pennsylvania, whose career reflected "the consistency, versatility, and determination that define the best of flat track."
