LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - American Township Fire Department responded to two campers on fire at a campground.
A call came into the American Township Fire Department around 2:30 pm May 10th for two campers fully engulfed in flames at the Sandy Point Campground. It was later released that the owner of the trailers had been cleaning up around his properties and burning leaves between the trailers. The fire spread, causing both trailers to catch fire, resulting in nearly 10-thousand-dollar damage. No injuries were reported, and the situation was contained in around an hour.
