LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The Lima Memorial Auxiliary is ushering in the Christmas season during its annual bazaar. The one-day event featured a wide variety of baked goods, homemade crafts, and holiday decorations for sale.
The bazaar has been a staple fundraiser for the auxiliary for many years and continues to showcase the talents of volunteers, associates, and former associates while raising money for future hospital projects.
The bazaar has been a staple fundraiser for the auxiliary for many years.
“Our volunteers and even associates, even retired associates, still donate to us. They're all very talented. We have all kinds of food snacks, all kinds of sewing projects, scrubbies. We even have live plants today. So, all of our sales today and throughout the year, we donate back to the hospital, and then they use it if their greatest need to enhance the patient's experience here," said Roberta Brewer, social chair of the LMHS Auxiliary.
In addition to the bazaar, the gift shop hosted its Holiday Open House on Friday, offering a variety of specialty holiday items and décor for sale.
