DELPHOS, Ohio (WLIO) - New economic development continues to fill additional space on Main Street in downtown Delphos.
Located at the intersection of North Main and Second streets, several businesses that now call Lehmann’s Plaza home met with community members and displayed their products or services.
On Tuesday evening, the Delphos Area Chamber of Commerce and Lehmann’s Furniture held an open house to showcase the newly developed Lehmann’s Plaza to the public. Located at the intersection of North Main and Second streets, several businesses that now call Lehmann’s Plaza home met with community members and displayed their products or services. The goal of Lehmann’s Plaza is to sustain Delphos’ positive economic growth while preserving its small-town roots.
“It's so beneficial to everybody. I mean, we're creating more jobs. We're giving, kind of, a big town feel but a small-town vibe here because you know if you don't want to run to Lima for something, you can come into the plaza or even a number of businesses that just opened up,” says Josh Miller, co-owner of Lehmann’s Furniture & Lehmann’s Plaza.
“I would love to see Delphos become a one-stop shop like you can come here. We have so many different types of businesses, small businesses especially, and you know, I would love everybody to just thrive,” says Rachel Will, co-owner of Lehmann’s Furniture & Lehmann’s Plaza.
