LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – Superior Credit Union is expanding with a new branch office while closing one of its oldest locations.
The company announced plans to build a new branch on Cable Road, located between McDonald’s and Runnings in the Clocktower Plaza. When construction is complete, Superior will close its Allentown Road branch, which was the credit union’s second branch location.
The former McDonald’s restaurant opened as a banking location in 1991. The new, larger facility on Cable Road is scheduled to open in the summer of 2026 and will also house Superior’s small business services, Superior Wealth Management, Superior Title and Superior Insurance Services.
