LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Two people were transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Lima Monday afternoon.
Around 3:15, two SUVs collided at the intersection of East Pearl Street and North Union Street. The crash caused major damage to both vehicles with the blue SUV rolling onto its side in nearby grass.
According to officers on scene, one person was extricated from the blue SUV and was transported to the hospital for suspected serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. One person from the silver SUV was transported as well for suspected minor injuries.
Officers say the cause of the crash appears to be from failure to yield at a stop sign.
