An Arkansas man pleaded guilty to a 2021 robbery and assault.
38-year-old Delmar Jones was indicted on one count each of aggravated robbery, and one count of felonious assault, both with repeat violent offender specifications. As part of the plea deal, the felonious assault and the RVOs were dropped. According to police in August of last year, Jones was going to meet a man to buy some items off him, but instead robbed him at gunpoint and struck him in the head with the gun. Jones will be sentenced next month and could be sentenced anywhere in between three and eleven years in prison.
