ArtSpace TO-GO Art Bag tradition continues on November 27th

Families can decorate the wooden hearts with their names and design unique compositions featuring trees. While sample designs will be provided, families are encouraged to unleash their creativity and make the project their own.

November 21, 2024, Press Release from ArtSpace/Lima: ArtSpace/Lima is excited to continue its tradition of distributing TO-GO Art Bags, first introduced in 2020. Designed to engage families in creative activities, these kits provide an opportunity to explore various art mediums while fostering skill-building and imagination. To date, ArtSpace has distributed over 27,000 Art Bags, a testament to the community's enthusiasm for accessible art experiences.

The next Art Bag giveaway will take place on Wednesday, November 27, starting at 12:00. noon in Cherry Alley. Each bag will include three colors of paint, a marker, a board, and wooden heart shapes, along with instructions for creating a personalized family tree. Families can decorate the wooden hearts with their names and design unique compositions featuring trees. While sample designs will be provided, families are encouraged to unleash their creativity and make the project their own.

For convenience and safety, ArtSpace is asking participants to remain in their vehicles and drive through Cherry Alley to pick up their TO-GO Art Bags. Access Cherry Alley from the 100 block of High Street, and exit onto Market Street.
