CRIDERSVILLE, Ohio (WLIO) — Water service has been shut off across the entire village of Cridersville, Ohiodue to a major water line break, according to village officials.
Mayor Rick Walls says crews are currently working to repair the break, which required the village to shut down the water system affecting all residents and businesses.
Officials say there is currently no estimated time for when water service will be restored. Once service returns, a boil water advisory will be issued for the entire village until further notice.
Residents are advised to boil water before using it for drinking, cooking or brushing teeth once water service is restored, as a precaution while the system is tested following the repair.
Village officials say updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
