AUGLAIZE COUNTY, Ohio (WLIO) — A Grand Lake Task Force investigation led to a traffic stop in Auglaize County on Thursday night, resulting in a large drug seizure and one arrest.
Deputies stopped a vehicle just after 9:30 p.m. on Interstate 75 northbound near mile marker 109 for a traffic violation.
During the stop, an Auglaize County Sheriff’s Office K-9 alerted to the presence of drugs. A search of the vehicle uncovered approximately 1.5 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, along with more than $800 in cash.
Nicole Marcine Cooper, 43, of Wilshire, was taken into custody and booked into the Auglaize County Correctional Center.
Her bond was set at $250,000.
Officials estimate the methamphetamine has a street value of more than $20,000.

On April 23, 2026, a Grand Lake Task Force investigation led to a traffic stop that resulted in the seizure of approximately 1.5 pounds of suspected methamphetamine and $806.00 in U.S. currency.
The traffic stop was conducted at 9:31 p.m. for a traffic violation at I-75 Northbound at MM 109. An Auglaize County Sheriff's Office K-9 was requested to conduct a sniff of the vehicle and gave a positive indication. During a subsequent search of the vehicle, deputies located the suspected methamphetamine and currency.
The female driver, and sole occupant, was taken into custody and booked into the Auglaize County Corrections Center. Her bond was set at $250,000 10%

The suspected Methamphetamine has an estimated street value of over $20,000. The Grand Lake Task Force is comprised of Deputies and Officers from departments in Auglaize and Mercer County. Assisting was The Ohio State Patrol and the FBI Northwest Safe Streets Task Force.
