LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — There is still time to enjoy the summer weather at the Lima Community Aquatic Park, but the outdoor water park's season is coming to an end.
Aquatic park officials announced that Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7, will be the final day the outdoor water park will be open for the season.
The indoor facility will remain open year-round, but its hours will change beginning in September.
The indoor facility will open at 6 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Wednesdays, it will open at 9 a.m. and remain open until 8 p.m.
Officials say the changes are based on suggestions from patrons. The new hours will be temporary as the aquatic park evaluates the public response.
