WAPAKONETA, Ohio (WLIO) — A St. Marys man has pleaded guilty to sex-related charges involving a teenage girl.
Hector Hernandez, 52, pleaded guilty to sexual battery and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Eleven other charges he was facing will be dropped as part of the plea agreement.
Hernandez served as a bus driver for the St. Marys City Schools when the offenses occurred with the teenage student, but the incidents did not take place on school grounds. He resigned from the district following his arrest.
Hernandez is scheduled to be sentenced in Auglaize County Common Pleas Court on May 21.
