Wapakoneta, Ohio (WLIO) - Multiple police agencies and the Auglaize County Sheriff's Office responded to a search warrant for two BP gas stations in Wapakoneta.

Not much information has been released for the active investigation at two gas station businesses in Wapak. After receiving search warrants for both, there was a call for mutual aid on the scene.

Wapakoneta received help from the Grand Lake Task Force, Auglaize County Sheriff's Office deputies, the Wapak Police Department, the Ohio Investigative Unit, the Border Patrol, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The owner of the businesses has been contacted, however he was not on scene and not cooperating at this time.

Auglaize County Sheriff Michael Vorhees gave us an update.

"Those gas stations have been under investigation by the Grand Lake Task Force for some time for some drug activity, and both search warrants were served today. It is a pending investigation, and it is ongoing at this time," says Michael Vorhees, Sheriff of Auglaize County.
