Fans of the blues found a home at the Ohio Theater this weekend.
The Greater Allen County Blues Society brought Bluesfest back for its second year. The group has found that it is much easier for them to get people out for a yearly concert as opposed to monthly shows, and president Mark Miller says that the beauty of Bluesfest is that the acts can appeal to more than just blues fans.
"Over the years it's kind of went from the guys that are getting older into the youth getting into the music," said Miller. "It's been kind of broke up between the older guys playing the blues and the younger pop generation playing more crossover, different kinds of music so it's not totally about blues."
Miller said they're hoping to make the concert an annual event so long as they keep getting support from the community.
