HARDIN COUNTY, Ohio (WLIO) - A Hardin County man was arrested following a high speed chase that started in Lima Wednesday morning.
According to the Lima Police Department, the person, whose name is not being released at this time, was arrested by Hardin County Sheriff's deputies Wednesday night. The chase started Wednesday morning when Lima police tried to do a traffic stop. The suspect took off and led officers on a chase around eastern Allen County. Officers ended the chase when it became too dangerous.
The suspect later abandoned the vehicle in Hardin County, and the suspect was later arrested by Hardin County deputies. The vehicle was secured by the Lima Police for evidence.
The police can release his name when he is formally charged for the incident.
