LIMA, OH (WLIO) - ArtSpace/Lima is selling local Christmas gifts that will also help to benefit their projects.
ArtSpace/Lima is selling local Christmas gifts that will also help to benefit their projects.
ArtSpace/Lima is selling unique and one-of-a-kind artistic creations, from pottery and jewelry to various items available for purchase in the sale room. Gift cards are also available to buy.
The money collected in the saleroom will go toward the building next door. That adjacent lot is currently being remodeled on the interior with the ultimate plan for a new art museum.
To purchase gifts, ArtSpace/Lima, located at 65 Town Square, Lima, OH 45801, is open this Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In addition to local money filtering back into the community, purchasing items from local artists also supplies the hands who made those gifts.
"If you buy things that artists have made, you're supplying and confirming their abilities to sell their wares, and we've got a lot of really unique things... But it's also good for the artist, the entrepreneurs, the pop-up shop people that have a side business, but it's their creativity that counts, so we're happy to have a space where they can sell their wares and make them unique, but then also, be able to spread what they do," said Sally Windle, executive director of ArtSpace/Lima.
