A man is now in the hospital after his dump truck flipped over on Allentown Road on Wednesday afternoon.
The Lima Police Department and the American Township Fire Department were dispatched to the scene around 2 p.m. According to police, the man was driving at a normal speed as he turned into the Walmart parking lot. However, the shift in the load caused the truck to overturn. He was transported to Mercy Health-St. Rita's with minor injuries. He'll be cited for a violation of an unsafe load.
