LIMA, OH (WLIO) - It's time to bring some nautical nonsense to the stage! Lima's Encore Theatre announced open audition dates for this summer's show, "SpongeBob the Musical."
Adults ages 18 to 50 are welcome to bring a two-minute song and dance and try out at Encore Theatre, located at 991 N Shore Drive, Lima, OH 45801, on May 28th and 29th at 7 p.m.
Encore's season lineup also includes classic favorites like "The Book of Will", "A Christmas Story", "The Outsider", and "Murder on the Orient Express."
Encore Theatre is also still seeking donations toward a new roof, with a goal of $120,000.Â
"Encore has been very proud to be Lima's community theatre home for almost 100 years—and all homes need a roof, but ours needs replaced. But as a nonprofit, everything we make goes right back into the theatre, including our roof, so we're very much hoping for some community support," said Sarah Glover, board member of Encore Theatre.
