LOGAN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - A former Spencerville City Schools superintendent is sentenced for sex-related charges.
66-year-old Dennis Fuge was sentenced to 45 days in jail, a $400 fine, and 2 years of probation with several conditions on one count of sexual imposition in Bellefontaine Municipal Court. Fuge is now considered a tier 1 sex offender and will have to register every year with the state for 15 years. He is not to have contact with the victim or have unsupervised contact with minors outside of his family.

He was originally indicted by a Logan County grand jury on 2 counts of gross sexual imposition and 2 counts of attempted sexual battery. The lesser charge in municipal court was filed last month as part of a plea agreement between the two parties that will dismiss the indictment.
The charges stemmed from an incident in March 2024 at his RV at Indian Lake with a Spencerville student. Fuge retired as the school's superintendent in 2019.
