It's student run and designed to be a teaching lab and restaurant.
Welcome to the Garden Cafe located just inside Apollo Career Center. Students of the culinary arts program work hard 3 days a week running this full functioning restaurant from preparing the food, waiting on the customers, to running the front of the house. The program is certified by the National Restaurant Association and students say it really prepares for work after graduation.
The Garden Cafe is open to the public on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 am to 12:30 p.m. The students provide an all you can eat hot buffet, salad bar, dessert and drink for only $6. Reservations are suggested but walk-ins and carry outs are welcomed.
