FINDLAY, Ohio (WLIO) — Two juveniles were arrested early Monday after leading law enforcement on a high-speed chase through multiple jurisdictions before the vehicle was disabled and the suspects fled on foot.

According to the Findlay Police Department, officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop at approximately 12:12 a.m. near Tiffin Avenue and North Blanchard Street. The driver of a Jeep Renegade failed to stop and fled, leading officers on a pursuit through the city.

Police said the vehicle ran multiple stop signs and a red light while reaching speeds of about 50 mph within city limits. The pursuit continued into Seneca County, where speeds reportedly increased to 115 mph.

After traveling to Fostoria, the driver went back to Findlay. Hancock County Sheriff's Office deputies deployed stop sticks, successfully disabling the vehicle.

When the Jeep came to a stop, both the driver and passenger fled on foot. Authorities later identified the juveniles involved and said charges are being filed against them.
