ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - He has led the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce for 25 years and says he is most proud of keeping the chamber in downtown Lima.
Executive director and CEO Jed Metzger spoke to fellow Rotarians about his years at the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce on Monday.

He spoke about how the chamber has grown and how many programs they have in place, such as the Agriculture Hall of Fame, the Women and Men in Business, the Small Business Awards, and more. He is most proud of keeping the chamber downtown, which kept many business resources in the same location.
"Because if we didn't do that, then all the organizations would have disbanded and would have been in different locations throughout the city. We achieved that goal. Everybody worked to make sure we achieved the goal to be the center for business services," said Jed Metzger, president & CEO of the Lima Allen County Chamber of Commerce.
Metzger is retiring at the end of the year, and Josh Unterbrink from Activate Allen County has been named as the new president and CEO of the Chamber.
