LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - Lima City Schools held a year of celebration service for their teachers and staff.
Taking place at South Science and Technology Magnet School, staff gathered to celebrate the hard work and years of service they have put into the school district. Staff members were recognized not only for reaching 20 plus years of service, but retirees were recognized for their highlights of their career, and their successes.
"Honestly, we spend just as much time here, if not more, than with our own families. So, it is very important for our districts to recognize these individuals, because once again, they have given so much of their time, of their life, to be with us and partly with the next generation, and so we greatly appreciate it," says superintendent of Lima City Schools, Andre Rudolph.
Staff, students, and other community members left this celebration with gratitude for their fellow Spartans.
