A Lima man facing criminal gang charges was back in court because of an issue with his attorney.
Jamaree Allen was in Allen County Common Pleas Court today(11/1/19), attempting to get a new attorney. His attorney said he'd willingly part ways if that was his decision, but that's not what the judge decided. The judge has ordered the two to continue to work together and figure out a way to work out their differences. Allen pleaded not guilty to numerous gang and gun-related charges. He is suspected as one of the two men firing shots in the area of Cole St. and Edgewood Dr. back in June. His trial is scheduled for January 27, 2020.
