Along with local races and ballot issues, Ohio voters will decide on State Issue 2.
It would allow Ohio to issue up to two and a half billion dollars in bonds over the next decade in infrastructure improvements.
While supporters argue the measure won't raise taxes, those opposed call it a "stealth bond issue."
Election officials are reminding us, however you decide, there are plenty of opportunities to cast that ballot.
“For early voting in person, we will be voting up until the Sunday before the election. The only weekends we will be open is the Saturday and Sunday directly before the election. Before that, we're only open for voting Monday through Friday. If you would like to get a ballot by mail, we have to receive your application a week before the election, April 29th; we have to have it by the close of business that day,” said Morgan Bode, Director, Allen County Board of Elections.
The Allen County Board of Elections will extend its hours during the final week of voting from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm.
